"On the Road Again..."

And we're off... Logan and I are headed to meet Gwama Jill to do a quick exchange of Logan and all of his extra baggage that comes along with him :) After that 5 hour drive, I will jump in the car with Jason for our 15 hour drive into Bear Country.

"Just can't wait to get on the road again..."

First Kiss?? Almost...

Today we went to the Playcenter to get out of the heat for a little bit and let Logan burn off some energy. He was a crazy man - running all over the place, going through tunnels and trying to jump off of mats! There is a small, indoor wooden jungle gym to climb with a slide attached. He was up there playing and another little girl (15 months) climbed up the stairs to go down the slide. He approached her and attempted to give her a gentle kiss! Now, if you haven't seen Logan give a kiss, you need to know that both his eyes and mouth are WIDE open the entire time. No, he doesn't pucker his lips whatsoever, he opens this mouth really big and moves in! The little girl just looked at him and walked away, then he backed off...but had she not walked away, it would have been his first kiss for sure! It was hilarious - the other mom and I were cracking up :)

Living Out of a Suitcase...

You may be wondering to yourself..."Where are the Dippels?" I know, I know I've been terrible about posting anything lately - sorry!! As you can see from the title, we've been on the go already this summer. Where did May go?! We've been at the Lake nearly every weekend since Logan's birthday. It seriously feels like we get home, do laundry and re-pack again. I started just leaving our bags packed and taking out the dirty clothes! Not only have we been 'laking it' but Jason and I have been trying to prepare for backpacking through Yellowstone in two weeks to celebrate our 3rd anniversary - again, where does time go!?! Logan will be visiting his Grandma Jill and Grandpa Ronnie while we're gone - sounds like he's got lots of fun things planned while we're gone. I'll try to be better about keeping up until we leave for Yellowstone but then we'll have a little time with no postings while we're gone again - be rest assured I'll make up the lost time with more pictures than you ever wanted to see after that :)
