Unofficially Closing Down Summer...

How better to unofficially close down summer's doors than with a weekend at the Lake? Unfortunately, the majority of the weekend was rainy or cloudy, but it wouldn't have been an accurate depiction of Summer 2009 had it not been bad weather all weekend and beautifully sunny while cleaning up to head home and of course during the entire drive home.

We were pleasantly surprised with an impromptu visit by Uncle Alex on Sunday afternoon. We couldn't resist letting Logan wear around his awful cowboy boots for a bit. We were even able to pull out an old cowboy hat, which Logan really took a liking to. While it's sad that Summer is over, we're excited for what Fall and Winter have to bring!
